Please join us to celebrate the 12th annual International Women's Coffee Alliance breakfast. All industry members are welcome and encouraged to attend and find out what we do and how to get involved. Proceeds will be used to support quality of life and other projects for women in coffee producing countries. The IWCA is a global peer network that advocates for women from seed to cup. IWCA not only provides access to resources but also promotes a forum for connection. Tickets for this event are $55 for IWCA members, $65 for non-members.

On the tour of the Kent Flexible Plant, you will be guided through Starbucks 315k sq. ft. facility that through innovation and process optimization produces the highest quality coffee, tea and soluble products (like our VIA Ready Brew) in the world.
In addition to being a large retail employer, Starbucks is also an important contributor to the U.S. manufacturing sector. Today, they employ more than 800 people at four large, specialty coffee roasting plants across the U.S. including Washington State, South Carolina, Pennsylvania and Nevada, with a fifth plant opening in Georgia. Last year, these plants blended, roasted, packaged and shipped nearly 300 million pounds of coffee.

The Coffee Quality Institute will host its 16th Annual Luncheon at The Event in Seattle. For 18 years, CQI has dedicated itself to improving coffee quality and the lives of the people who produce it.
